Cultivating sacred connection through slow living, sustainable design, and soulful homemaking.
Soily Living is our love letter to the land, to intention, and to the sacred rhythm of a slower life. Born from a dream to root more deeply into ourselves and the earth, this space chronicles our journey—renovating a 1950s cottage, restoring a soulful RV, and eventually building a container home and sustainable homestead on four acres of North Carolina soil.
We’re Michelle and Eboni—partners in life, creativity, and stewardship. Soily Living began as a whispered prayer during a season of burnout and expansion, and has since blossomed into a living, breathing philosophy: live softer, honor the land, build beauty slowly.

We’re two visionaries who chose to slow down, root deep, and rebuild life from the soil up. After years of hustle culture, we pivoted—toward peeling wallpaper, sunrise gardening, and soul-filled spaces.
Our journey includes renovating our 1950s Cottage, restoring Zora the RV, dreaming up a modern container home, and designing a homestead rooted in sustainability, beauty, and ancestral reverence.
Soily Living is our reclamation—a return to rhythm, ritual, and what truly matters.
We believe in:
Slow living as sacred living
Spaces that soothe and stories that root us
Making home a site of healing, ritual, and resistance
Doing more with less—and doing it with heart
Our work honors the cycles of nature, the wisdom of ancestors, and the power of intention in every nail hammered, garden bed planted, and corner styled.
Soily Living is a tapestry of:
Project deep-dives – The Cottage, Zora the RV, The Container, and beyond.
The Soily Journal – Our blog filled with seasonal reflections, DIY tips, and intentional living guides.
Offerings – Digital products, workshops, and resources to support your own rooted lifestyle.
Philosophy – Our take on sustainability, homemaking, and what it means to live sacredly.
We’re not here to build fast. We’re here to build forever.
Hi, we're Michelle and Eboni — Miche and Eb, for short. We are both Mani Gens. We love sports, road trips, and slow saturdays at home.
Michelle (she/her) is a coach, writer, and intuitive creator with a Ph.D. in Multicultural Women’s & Gender Studies. A lifelong lover of peonies, proteas, and sacred ritual, she brings deep intention and vision to every Soily Living detail.
Eboni (she/her) is a clinical therapist, former attorney, and plant whisperer who grounds our projects with soulful practicality. She sees the magic in the mundane and makes every space feel like home.
Together, we bring both structure and soul to the way we design, live, and dream.
